Burrocacao!!

Il burrocacao è un cosmetico che viene applicato sulle labbra per proteggerle dal freddo, dalla stomatite, dalla cheilite angolare e per lenire i sintomi dell'herpes labiale. La sua applicazione è simile a quella del rossetto, infatti viene venduto in piccoli tubetti retrattili,simili proprio a quelli del rossetto.Più raramente esso è venduto in piccoli contenitori, da cui il burrocacao viene preso con un dito e poi spalmato sulle labbra.
BENEFICI
L'obiettivo primario del burrocacao è quello di fornire una protezione sulla superficie delle labbra e proteggerle dall'esposizione esterna,infatti l'aria secca, il freddo ed il vento tendono a seccare la pelle, riducendo l'umidità del corpo e le labbra, nello specifico, sono particolarmente vulnerabili, perchè lo strato di pelle è più sottile e di conseguenza sono le prime a diventare secche. Utilizzando materiali come la cera e la vaselina che,fungendo da isolante, prevengono la perdita di umidità.
COMPOSIZIONE E STORIA
Il burrocacao è normalmente composto da burro di cacao o burro di karite, cera d'api, vaselina,mentolo, canfora, oli profumati e vari altri ingredienti. Alcuni tipi di burrocacao sono arricchiti da vitamine, allume o acido salicilico. La maggior parte contengono anche octinoxate, avobenzone e spesso filtri solari per ridurre al minimo i danni del sole. Il primo burrocacao fu creato con il cerume umano.Pur risultando efficace, tale prodotto era piuttosto sgradevole, e la sua composizione fu modificata.
